It is hoped that as many businesses as possible from the south-west region will advertise and support this site. It is primarily a local site for local people but much of the content is of international importance, though its wide ranging coverage of shorelife. Many people will use the site for a wide variety of reasons, and many may wish to visit the region.
I have had many people contacting me who wish to visit our region and especially Devon and Cornwall. Those who enquire wish to see some of the wildlife and participate in many of the leisure activities the region is known for. I am primarily asked about accommodation so I am hoping to be contacted by hotels, bed and breakfast establishments or hostelries, inns, pubs and taverns, that offer rooms; especially those on the coast, who may be close to beaches, rockpooling or walking areas. Similarly, shops offering fishing tackle, surfing, diving or leisure equiptment or businesses offering other services may also wish to advertise.
This site and other similar APHOTO websites are designed to display images for both educational and sale. The advertising revenue and sale of images from the website supports its educational purpose.
